Linden has been involved in business for more than 35 years. A Certified General Accountant Linden is also a talented computer programmer / software analyst with proven success developing financial systems in a variety of industries. His leadership in the construction industry includes roles as Construction Manger, Project Manager for small and medium new home builders, and Building Site Supervisor. Linden has been involved hands-on in the building industry too as a framing contractor on building projects in Canada, China, Japan and Mexico.
Lindens industry experience and on-the-job insight led to the development of the iBUILD business management software system. He recognized the challenge of build / renovation management, documentation, paper flow and how these multi-faceted and linked aspects frequently impeded efficiency, consistency and productivity.
Linden identified that small and medium sized construction firms often find existing software applications beyond their scope financially and that existing product offerings frequently require the purchase of proprietary systems. By developing the iBUILD system to operate in an Excel environment, Linden created a management tool that is easily accessible, highly useable / adaptable, complementary to tools of colleagues / suppliers - and extremely affordable.
